In a 45+ year career, during which he worked as Senior Editor at India Today and Editor-in-Chief of The Indian Express, Shekhar Gupta has reported on key events in India and around the world — from Operation Bluestar to the fall of the Berlin Wall and has done more than a dozen tours of duty in Pakistan.

Shailaja Bajpai

In a 40-year career, Shailaja Bajpai has been a feature writer, editor and media columnist. She branched out into media education as Director of the Express Institute of Media Studies. She was Vice Dean at OP Jindal University’s Department of Journalism and taught at IILM University, Gurgaon and Greater Noida.

Rama Lakshmi

Editor, Opinion and Ground Reports

An award-winning journalist, Rama Lakshmi was India Correspondent for The Washington Post for 27 years. She won the American Society of News Editors Award in 2005 for her coverage of the tsunami disaster. She is also an expert in museology.

D.K. Singh

DK Singh has reported on national politics and governance for over 28 years for international news media as well as Indian newspapers. These include Japan’s Mainichi Shimbun, Business Standard, The Indian Express and Hindustan Times.
