What is this course about?
This course offers a 360-degree view of multimedia journalism and communication by some of India's finest award-winning journalists

What is the minimum educational qualification required for this course?
The minimum qualification required is a Class XII pass certificate

When does the course begin?
The new batch begins May 2025

What is the selection criteria for the course?
There will be a written test followed by an interview. Decision of the selection committee will be final
There is a payment of Rs 1,000 to register for the written test, followed by the interview. This will, however, be adjusted against the course fees and is non-refundable.

How long is the course?
The course is spread over 16 weekends, comprising 32 classes i.e. two classes per week of 2 hours each

What are the class timings?
Classes will be held between 11am - 1pm on every Sat & Sun during the course duration (unless otherwise specified)

What is the course fee?
The fee per student is Rs 99,000/- (including GST)

What is the assessment criteria of the course?
Assessment of students will be based on attendance, assignments and class participation

●  Letters of recommendation for select students
●  2-month internship at ThePrint for meritorious students. This will be based on assessment and in consultation with the faculty
●  To understand the basic concepts of multimedia journalism

●  How to report, write, edit and publish articles online

●  Laptop or desktop not more than 5 years old (tablets and mobile devices may not be suitable for all requirements)
